BRIAN ALFF
Brian is a Network Support Analyst for the Oak Hill IT Dept. He has been with Oak Hill for 4 1/2 years. Brian is described as thoughtful, kind, considerate, and unselfish to his coworkers both personally and professionally. He is a huge asset to the Oak Hill IT Dept.

PAMELA BENSON Pam has been with Oak Hill for 22 1/2 years. She currently works as an RPW in the Plymouth Group Home. Pam is described as a proactive staff member, consistently implementing the behavior support plan, planning activities, having program materials easily accessible, anticipating the needs of the program participants and always demonstrating concern and respect for all residents. Pam initiates activities throughout the day which may include horticulture, crafts and sensory integration. She has displayed creative ideas and does not hesitate to share her ideas with her manager and her peers. Pam is a team player.

Frances is a Physical Therapist and works in the Education Department at Oak Hill. She has been with Oak Hill for 2 1/2 years. Fran is described as an outstanding team member and resource to all the parents for specialized equipment. She is an asset to the Education Department and to the group homes where she provides services.

Romanita is an LPN in the New Britain 1 Classroom and has been working at Oak Hill for over 5 years. Romanita is described as caring and supportive, selfless with both students and staff, and one who goes above and beyond her call of duty.

LORI BARTNIKOWSKI Lori is an RPW currently working in the Bozrah Group Home and has been an Oak Hill employee for over 10 years. She is described as a dependable and effective leader and mentor for new staff and a strong advocate for the participant's overall health and safety. Lori provides multiple teaching moments to the residents and recognizes their accomplishments. She takes steps to provide meaningful activities for the residents. |

Employed for the past 13 years, Sandy is described as being passionate about her job, supportive of her staff, and a leader by example. Her advocacy efforts have enhanced the lives of the participants residing at the Bucks Hill Road Group Home. |

KENNETH MAREK Ken is a Group Home Nurse Coordinator for the Plymouth-South St Group Home. He is described as an amazing nurse who not only carries out his nursing duties with superiority but he has also spent time developing personal relationships with the participants and has volunteered for recreational outings such as providing nursing care on a fishing trip.

HEATHER CARTA Heather is a Residential Program Worker in the Colunbia-Lake Rd and Lebanon-Bascom Rd Group Homes. Employed for the past 5 years, Heather is described as reliable, conscientious and always bringing a positive attitude to work. She consistently looks for ways to enrich the lives of our program participants and keeping the individual's best interest and goals in mind. Heather recently handled an emergency situation while on shift with "clear thinking and quick action" which led to a positive outcome for the individual.

DAVID PIGGOTT Dave is a Program Supervisor for the Hartford Day Programs. Employed for nearly 18 years, Dave is described as someone who assumes additional responsibilities without question. His hands-on approach helps to guide staff with their responsibilities and emphasizes "teaching by doing". |

JERRY KAWALA Jerry is a Maintenance Mechanic in the Operations Dept. Employed for nearly 14 years, Jerry is described as one of the most skilled and qualified individuals in his department. He possesses a positive attitude, initiative, a good sense of humor and a willingness to help others. Jerry is an asset to his department and to Oak Hill.

DONNA FOURNIER Donna is a Program Supervisor and has been with Oak Hill for nearly 31 years. She is an outstanding Program Supervisor, one who is conscientious, fair, and seeks guidance when needed. As a supervisor, Donna is described as incredibly patient, supportive, understanding, and inspirational. Donna remains involved with the day to day lives of the participants she serves. Her outstanding work record make her an asset to the Agency and is most deserving of this month's award.
